This website will assist you and your students with settingup free Tinkercad accounts and giving them access to the lessons you want to assign. As of January 31, 2017, Tinkercad has moved what was previously used in Project Ignite to the Tinkercad website. Click HERE for more information about the switch.

Students 13 and over

When students 13 and over sign up for their free Tinkercad account, they will need an active email address that they can access in case they forget their password. THE TEACHER DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO MONITOR THE STUDENT'S ACCOUNT NOR RESET THEIR PASSWORDS FOR THEM.

Students under 13

When students under 13 sign up for their free Tinkercad account, they will need to create a username and type in their parent's email address. It's a good idea for the teacher to plan ahead and make sure the parents know. The student will need the teacher's code, so the teacher can monitor the student's account. THE TEACHER HAS ACCESS TO RESET PASSWORDS!

Students under 13 will log in with a username​ and password.

Students 13 and over will log in with their email address and password.

Teachers Code and Moderate Kids

To generate a teacher code, the teacher will need to go to the TEACH link and create a new code. Students who are 13 and over will not need this code, but students who are under 13 will use the code in order to be added to your class.

To moderate your student accounts, click your account icon in the upper right where you will see "Moderate Kids". Only your underage students will be in this list.
